and moldings, circa 1900. The original page size (approx. 5" x 8") has been maintained with two pages

Tropico Potteries (Glendale, CA). Tropico Tiles Faience and Quarry Tiles. Floor, bathroom,
countertop and fireplace installations are illustrated plus a soda fountain and a retail exterior.
Also trim shapes, accessories, and a small assortment of decorative tiles not found in other catalogs.
Specifications and installation instructions included along with a color chart of 24 glazes. 28 pages,

Tropico Potteries (Glendale, CA). Tile. Gladding, McBean & Co. produced this 54-page catalog of
faience, wall and floor tile products in 1928. In addition to a Historical Foreword and pictures of a select
number of premier installations, there are illustrations of numerous individual decorative tiles, borders,
inserts, fountain heads and field designs. Product lists and specifications as well as detailed trim shapes
are included. Price: $10.

Tudor Potteries (Los Angeles, CA). Here are six full pages of individual tile designs in the colorful
Hispano Moresque tradition plus fountain illustrations, mantels and trim shapes. The color version of this
catalog is well worth the additional expense as the colors themselves are so vibrant. 25 pages, 1931. Price:

body glazed tiles, red body glazed tiles and quarry tiles, all with extensive trim selections. Plus 48 color swatches
of the glazed wall tiles, pictures of bathroom color combinations, over 40 floor pattern examples, several in color,

a rare treat. Introducing Waco Art Tile, Waco Faience Tile, Waco Pavers, and Waco Quarry Tiles with size details and
trim shapes. Only one page is devoted to individual tile designs; others contain fireplace, floor and fountain

little gem of a catalog with one full page of polychrome inserts, 2
pages of "floor suggestions" showing various arrangements of
decorative and field tiles, a page of mantel illustrations, another
of arches, a page of typical wall designs more institutional in
nature, and finally a page of trim shapes. 8 pages in full color,
undated, c. 1920.
